AK Bargain Hunter Holiday Giveaway Bash: 5.00 Gift Certificate to Picnic Basket Crafts + Free Shipping to Alaska Code!

One of the first shops I ran into (and have been a customer of ever since) when I started trying to find all natural products to use was Picnic Basket Crafts on Etsy.  If you are looking for a one-stop green product shop where you can get skin care, baby care and cleaning products all in one spot as well as aromatherapy and other items look NO further my friends!

Picnic Basket Crafts makes the best all natural cleaning products that I've ever used and yes, I honestly think they beat Seventh Generation and the other commercially produced cleaners in cleaning power.  The best part about the cleaning products in the shop (which right now there's reduced inventory so I really can't show you at this moment) is that they come condensed (well that and having a list of ingredients you can pronounce and KNOW) and YOU add the water to them, so you are literally paying for just the cleaner, not the water to dilute it.  Each refill container of cleaner makes 1 gallon's worth of cleaner too!  For instance I bought the all natural cleaning kit off of Picnic Basket Crafts a long while ago along with 2 refills of the all purpose cleaner.  I use this cleaner constantly and I STILL have 1 refill container of the cleaner left and about 1/2 gallon made up and ready to refill my spray bottles.  Now THAT'S some great performance folks!

Speaking for products in her shop currently (since a lot of my faves are currently MIA for the time being), I can give you a review of several of the products up for grabs right now.

The Naturally Gentle Furniture Dusting Spray works about 110 times better than Pledge, and no I'm not exaggerating.  My wood table LOVES this stuff and I love the fact that I can use it and not inhale fumes that make me cough.  And the best part?  This stuff does great double duty as a leather conditioner.  I use it to re-condition my leather furniture after I clean it and it comes out all nice and shiny and smells lovely.  The retail on this is 4.00 and it is worth every penny and lasts for a LONG time.

The Naturally Gentle Wood Furniture Creme (4.85 USD) is awesome stuff!  I honestly, ahem, can't vouch for how well it does on wood furniture but I can say that it works awesome on conditioning cutting boards and it also works great to give a wonderful conditioning treatment to leather coats as I use it on my husband's leather jacket to make sure it stays in good shape.

And for those who do not want to try making their own skincare products, might I put this recommendation out there...

The Healing Facial Creme for Seriously Sensitive Skin (12.00 USD) is truly wonderful stuff!  I still use this on my daughter's eczema when it pops up.  Her skin LOVES it.  It is thick enough to give you a good moisturizing coat on your skin, but isn't the least bit greasy and absorbs very quickly into the skin.  The effects of the creme seem to last for quite a while too and really do a good job of reducing skin irritation.  I definitely recommend this to people with mild to moderate eczema

And here is a GREAT product for anyone with kiddos in diapers...

The Cleanse and Moisturize Mist for Baby (2.00 for the travel size shown above) is wonderful stuff and if you carry it around with you with some flannel cloths to use as wet wipes you won't be sorry!  This stuff cuts through...well we'll just say "stuff" how about that and it smells great and leaves the skin that you just cleaned so soft!  I was so impressed with this stuff after ONE time using it I went online and immediately ordered the refill kit.  I use it all the time when having to clean up kiddos around here and I still haven't run out of it yet.

Okay, I could just continue down with every product I've ever tried from Picnic Basket Crafts but the post would be two miles long.  Needless to say that when Tiffany, the owner of Picnic Basket Crafts offered to sponsor a giveaway (and a cool additional neat thing for the rest of you) I was THRILLED!

Tiffany was not only nice enough to offer up a 5.00 giftcard to her shop to one lucky winner, but she also is offering free shipping to Alaska, for a limited time, when you use coupon code freeshiptoak at checkout!

I mean how cool is that!  How often do WE get free shipping over other people???  This is a limited time use code, folks, so if you want to use it, use it soon :).

To enter this Giveaway is simple.  Just leave a comment after this post (if you can't comment please e-mail me or leave a note on Facebook and I'll add you to the kiddie for the giveaway) about what product you are going to try if you win the giftcard.  This giveaway will run from today December 3rd, 2011 and run through December 10th, 2011.  At that point I'll pick a winner via Random.org and you'll have 72 hours in which to get back to me or I'll be forced to pick a new winner.

This giveaway is going to be over e-mail so please leave your e-mail address if at all possible so I can get back to you ASAP and can also pass on the winning e-mail to Tiffany as soon as the giveaway is over (be sure to use an e-mail you CHECK!).

This giveaway is open to all legal residents of the U.S. so go for it people!  And good luck!

Ohhhh I would have to say that healing cream. My poor skin is so sensitive! I hate having to use anything "heavy" and most moisterizers have so much bad stuff in them it burns my skin! I would love to win the $5 gc!!!
