DIY Thanksgiving Style: Spiced Pear and Cranberry Relish

Ever since I got the recipe for a cranberry relish off of my husband's grandmother I have made it every Thanksgiving since.  Course, the recipe I use is much shorter than this one, but I can't say enough good things about cranberry relish.  I SO prefer it to the jellied cranberry goup that comes in the can :).

Just as a note, yes you can omit the nuts (if you have allergies in the house) and it'd taste just fine without it :).
