Hearth and Home: Home Made Lavender Laundry Detergent (bulk) Recipe!

Thanks to Wikipedia for use of the image!
If you want to make a HUGE batch of home made laundry detergent and just be done with it for quite a while, well here you go!

Go HERE where Mother Earth News shares a recipe for Lavender Laundry Detergent that will last a typical family of four for a year!

By the way, Fred Meyer sells Kirk's Castile soap in 3 packs. I've only been able to find the scented (it's not a terrible scent mind you), but it's usually hidden on the bottom shelf in the soap isle if you want to try the recipe with that.
