New AK Bargain Hunter Giveaway: Yoplait Kids Prize Pack!

Well folks, I promised a new giveaway as soon as I could get up enough energy to function even the least little bit, so since I got three whopping hours of sleep last night, I now am classified as "the walking dead" instead of the "staggering and barely able to function dead" ;).  And so, thanks to Yoplait, through My Blog Spark, I have a new cool giveaway for you all.

Here's the skinny from the e-mail they sent me...

"Yoplait Kids has an excellent source of both calcium and vitamin D, a good source of protein and the delicious taste kids demand. It also contains 25% less sugar than the leading kids´ yogurt, and has no high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. Yoplait Kids yogurt is a snack you can feel confident about serving to your kids!

With tasty flavor options, as well as calcium, vitamin D and protein to help build strong bones, Yoplait Kids yogurt is sure to be popular with parents and kids alike. A great value at just $2.00 (note from Erika: That's Lower 48 price...keep that in mind :) for a pack of four, this yogurt comes in three delicious flavors, including Strawberry, Strawberry Banana and Vanilla. Kids will love finding their favorite friends, like Dora the Explorer, Lightning McQueen from the hit movie 'Cars' and the Disney Princesses, on every cup.

Yoplait Kids has also partnered with well-known mom-blogger, Christine Coppa, Mama's Boy blogger at parenting.com and author of Rattled! (Broadway Books, 2009), who has developed helpful snacking tips for moms with young children including:

* Tips about healthy snack ideas
* Tips about portable snacks
* Tips about making snack time fun"

The winner of this giveaway will receive a Yoplait Kids Prize pack (seen above) which includes; a coupon for Yoplait Kids yogurt, a foldable travel cooler (to take your yogurt on-the-go), a cool four-piece spoon set, a power magnet picture frame, trendy alphabet-shaped "Kiddie Bands", a great big bounce ball and a "My First Scavenger Hunt" card game for some after-snack fun.

Yoplait through My Blog Spark was nice enough to send me one of these kits as well. By far the biggest hit was the bouncy ball. I haven't FOUND the Yoplait Kids yogurt (remember it's 25% less sugar, so it is NOT the usual Trix or Go-Gurt yogurts at the store) yet to get the free 4 pack (I've only tried Fred Meyer in Palmer and Target though), so I can't really say what we think of the yogurt yet and if it tastes okay to us or not, but the bouncy ball (think Sky Ball sized) was a big hit with the kiddos. I put the magnetic calendar up on the fridge (it is a nice one as magnetic calendars go), the spoons went into our special "ice cream" drawer where I keep spiffy spoons and stuff for special occasions (they're pretty big circumference-wise, so they might be hard for little hands to hold...I have pretty small hands, so they felt clunky to me, but they're still cool looking *laugh*). The scavenger hunt game is GREAT for expanding little vocabularies though (at least it was a hit around here). My daughter has picked up no less than ten words coming up and asking me what the picture is on the card and how to pronounce it. The kiddie bands went into a drawer where my nephew will get them later (since he's into the bandz craze as well as all other kids right now) because my kids and rubber bands at their age is a BAD idea.

I used to get these for my Daughter when she was younger then she began to dislike yogurt. Now my son is into it. I have looked for it again and I have not found it. I checked Palmer freds, Wasilla freds, and walmart(used to be the only place to find it)and nothing:(

I just went into the new Palmer Carrs and found the yoplait kids yogurts. It was crazy busy because it just opened. There are some good deals to be had, if you want to bear the crowds. They were handing out coupon booklets.

Thanks Miranda! I appreciate the tip on the yogurt...it cut down my time while I was in Carrs since I knew they had it *laugh*...looking for stuff in that store tonight was terrible. At least I found everything...I just wish they'd given me my tissues...I really have no desire to go back to the mob tomorrow *sigh*, but I will persevere!
